The course “Buddhism: from its doctrinal roots to lived experience” offered an introductory but at the same time complete knowledge of Buddhism and the Buddhist tradition, starting from their historical roots and essential doctrinal principles and examining their evolution to the present day. The course also enabled the personal experience of the Buddhist spiritual practice par excellence, meditation, through a specialized theoretical/practical workshop.
This course took place between the months of April and June 2021. It lasted a total of 60 hours, corresponding to 6 ECTS credits and distributed over 20 hours for each of the three thematic blocks of the program. It was taught in Spanish and was aimed at students and the general public who were highly interested in the subject.
